Hands-On Field Trips & Enrichment Programs
Discoveries in the Desert offers interactive field trips in Arizona and hands-on enrichment programs for kids in Pre-K through 8th grade, designed to take learning off the page and into the real world. Our thoughtfully designed programs combine hands-on education, real-world exploration, and meaningful connection through immersive experiences at museums, aquariums, zoos, entertainment venues, and other educational venues across the Valley.
Each Discovery Program includes a comprehensive pre-visit learning packet aligned with Arizona state standards, helping students build background knowledge and arrive prepared to fully engage in the experience.â Programs also include a guided welcome activity and on-site STEM labs or learning guides, with the owner present at every program to support students and ensure a well-structured, engaging experience. Designed for homeschool families, microschools, and co-ops, these programs support academic growth while helping families connect and build community. Our summer and break programs are open to all Arizona families. Our field trips are ESA-approved programs, with the ability to pay directly through ClassWallet. With programs starting at just $35 per student, quality hands-on learning is accessible for every family.
