From homeschool field trips in Arizona to interactive enrichment programs, every experience is thoughtfully designed to complement in-class and at-home learning, spark new interests, and foster confidence and connection in a safe, supportive environment.
Hi, I'm Allie!
For the past nine years, I’ve organized educational programs and field trips for public, charter, and private schools, coordinating everything from local experiences to multi-day and out-of-state trips. I started Discoveries in the Desert to bring those same enriching opportunities to homeschool families and am passionate about inspiring students through hands-on learning that connects knowledge to real-world discovery. Each experience is intentionally designed to go beyond a typical field trip. Discovery programs include a pre-visit education packet to build background knowledge, a guided welcome activity to set the stage for learning, and thoughtfully planned on-site labs or learning guides at each venue. With the owner present at every program to lead and support the experience, groups can feel confident knowing their students are engaged in meaningful, well-structured, real-world learning.
