Arizona Field Trips & Educational Programs for Kids
Discoveries in the Desert creates hands on educational experiences for students across the Phoenix Valley. Homeschool families can join Community Discovery Programs throughout the school year, while STEM Discovery Week gives all students the opportunity to explore, experiment, and learn during school breaks. Groups can also create a Custom Discovery Program designed around their students, interests, and learning goals.
Explore the program that fits your family or group and see where learning can take you.
Community Discovery Programs
Community Discovery Programs are scheduled educational field trips created for homeschool families looking for engaging ways to learn, explore, and connect with other families.
Students visit museums, aquariums, zoos, STEM destinations, cultural sites, outdoor spaces, and other learning environments throughout the Phoenix Valley.
Curriculum is included to help students build background knowledge and make meaningful connections to each experience.
STEM Discovery Week
School Break Adventures for All Students
STEM Discovery Week brings hands on science, technology, engineering, and math experiences to students during school breaks.
Programs are open to all students and are scheduled around traditional school calendars, including spring break and select weeks during summer.
Each Discovery Week gives students the opportunity to explore exciting destinations, participate in STEM focused activities, meet other curious kids, and spend their break learning through experiences they will actually be excited about.
Custom Discovery Programs
Educational Experiences Designed Around Your Group
Custom Discovery Programs are created for homeschool co ops, microschools, youth groups, student organizations, and educational communities looking for something designed specifically for their students.
I can help research the possibilities, coordinate the experience, manage group logistics, and add on site instruction or complete curriculum when your group needs it.
